Leuven-based company takes second step in building up reseller network
Leuven, 12 September 2006 - ServersCheck, the Leuven-based manufacturer of software and hardware for monitoring the availability of IT infrastructure, has entered into an agreement with Delta Link, a leading value added distributor in the Benelux countries for data communication technology. This is the next step by Servers Check in building up its reseller network in the Benelux via distributors. Delta Link is the first distributor of ServersCheck products.
The contract with Delta Link, which has positioned itself over the last 15 years as a value added distributor, and is one of the top three datacom distributors, is an important step for ServersCheck. Maarten Van Laere, CEO of ServersCheck says: "Delta Link distributes our software to value added resellers and system integrators, which means that they are reaching IT service providers with SME customers. It is SMEs which have the the greatest requirement for affordable and efficient ways of monitoring server hardware and software. Delta Link also offers substantial value added in pre-sales and after-sales."
Delta Link's 'expertnet business unit' operates in the market of robust security applications. The ServersCheck product is complementary to the range that Delta Link is already distributing. Johan Cools, Managing Director of Delta Link: "We decided to distribute ServersCheck products because they were complementary to our other products including the Fortinet range which we distribute to Internet service providers, data centers and managed network environments. The distribution of ServersCheck monitoring software is certainly an interesting addition for our 'expertnet business unit'. What is more, the product is the only one of its kind."
The expansion of the reseller network for the ServersCheck Monitoring Software is gathering pace. Earlier this year, the company from Leuven signed contracts with hardware manufacturers Acer EMEA and Maxdata. All the servers that Acer EMEA and Maxdata have sold since then have been supplied with the ServersCheck software. Businesses use that software to monitor the availability and performance of their servers automatically. Operating systems remain available, and much less money is lost through system crashes or damage. Today, thousands of international users already rely on ServersCheck to monitor the availability of their systems.
