Factory and Built-in calibration of ServersCheck sensors

All ServersCheck sensor probes are manually calibrated prior to shipping. This is done by running a series of tests on each sensor probe. This allow us to verify if the readings returned by the probe are within the acceptable limits of the sensor.

Several factors can influence readings of a sensor over time. Most vendors will require you to return the sensor probe for recalibration if under warranty or to purchase a new probe. ServersCheck's sensors can be calibrated at any time through the web interface.

The ServersCheck sensors always come with a built-in temperature sensor which allows for backup temperature monitoring and ensuring that developing sensor drift readings can be detected.

The calibration feature requires firmware 1.1 or higher.
