Industrial grade environmental sensors & certifications

The sensor gateway is the heart of any ServersCheck sensor solution. It takes care of the network link and communication with the external sensor (SNMP), monitors the sensor readings available through its web interface. It also generates the alerts when treshold values have been exceeded.

It is clear that the sensor gateway is the most critical component of the solution. Making sure it is top notch quality made out of excellent components and meeting industrial standards was our requirements when designing this product.

Operational temperature of up to 75°C/167°F with stainless steel probes of up to 155°C: As shown in the picture, the ServersCheck PoE & SNMP sensor gateway has been tested to operate within an environment of 75°C/167°F. This exceeds requirements typically found for harsh conditions (up to 70°C).

FCC Class A, Part 15, Subpart B: The sensor gateway has been thoroughly tested in order to meet the strict requirements for FCC. Certificate is available here.

CE Class B: The sensor gateway meets the strict CE Class B requirements. The sensor gateway has been fully tested for compliance by the highly rated TÜV agency. Certificate is available here.

EMI/EMC The device is EMI/EMC protected.

Steel enclosure. Competing ethernet sensors found on the market are often made out of plastic. This makes sense for the external sensor enclosure but not for the rack mounted component. Especially in industrial environments.
